An Automation Engineer is needed for a Swiss multinational manufacturing company for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and nutrition sectors, in the Portsmouth, NH area. This role involves authoring recipes in Syncade MES, executing test scripts, managing change requests, conducting root-cause analysis for deviations, and handling various documentation tasks within a GMP-regulated environment, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Recipe Authoring: Create recipes using Syncade MES.
- Testing: Design, execute, simulate, and wet test scripts.
- Change Management: Own, complete, and assess change requests to support project completion.
- Perform Deviation and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Assist the Quality department with deviation investigations.
- Help complete Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) items.
- Participate in quality risk assessments.
- Review and revise automation and manufacturing-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Functional Specifications, work instructions, and other documentation.
- Author and review test protocols.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
Experience:
- Related work experience in a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) environment.
- Experience with MES Syncade Recipe Authoring.
- strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to secure information and identify key issues and relationships.
- Ability to evaluate engineering problems, determine cause-and-effect relationships, and propose solutions.
- Ability to fulfill on-call hours.
