A Field Operator is needed for a company that transports, distributes and generates energy, with diversified assets that include a balance between crude oil and natural gas in the Evangeline, LA area. This role involves operating and monitoring process control systems in various energy facilities, performing standard assignments with increasing independence, and ensuring safety and accurate documentation under the guidance of a supervisor.

responsibilities:
- Operate, control, and monitor vital process control systems.
- Learn to operate more complex equipment and procedures.
- Ensure all pertinent records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Maintain timely preventative maintenance schedules.
- Demonstrate a detailed understanding of and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
- May participate in design reviews.
- May provide basic guidance to contractors or less experienced employees.
- Works with significant independence on standard assignments.
- Receives direction from a Coordinator/Supervisor, with the level of supervision decreasing over time.
- Assists with more complex tasks under guidance.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma.
- Typically 2 years of directly relevant training and experience.
- Completed all core technical training requirements.
