An Industrial Engineer is needed for a leading manufacturing organization in the Northern Atlanta metro area. The Industrial Engineer is responsible for developing and enhancing manufacturing processes, establishing time standards, and analyzing data to improve operations.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, along with 1 year of relevant experience. You must possess interpersonal and written communication skills and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. A thorough understanding of Lean manufacturing and process improvement principles is required, and AutoCAD proficiency is desired.

- Document new and existing product assembly processes
- Conduct time studies and analyze data to suggest improvements
- Assist with facility layout, design, and product flow optimization
- Standardize parts and processes throughout the facility
- Collaborate with supervisors, operators, and engineers to identify areas for improvement
- Use Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S principles to reduce waste and enhance efficiency
