An Inspection Technician is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Medley, FL area. This role involves examining manufactured and supplier products against quality standards, documenting results and discrepancies using SAP, and prioritizing tasks to support production schedules.

responsibilities:
- Inspection: Perform incoming, in-process, or final inspections of manufactured assemblies and supplier products.
- Documentation: Record inspection results and product discrepancies in the SAP information system.
- Decision-Making: Make decisions on product acceptance based on documentation and quality standards.
- Prioritization: Prioritize inspection tasks to meet production schedules.
- Technical Interpretation: Understand and interpret design data, including drawings and Bills of Material.
- Tool Usage: Utilize various inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Versatility: Capable of supporting multiple product lines and commodities.
- Communication: Answer quality and inspection-related questions.
- SAP Transactions: Complete various transactions within the SAP system as required.
- Miscellaneous Duties: Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and schedule.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D) or vocational/technical education in a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
