An Assembler is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Medley, FL area. This job involves the assembly of manufactured products according to design specifications and quality standards, using a variety of tools, while also performing quality checks and maintaining a safe work environment.

responsibilities:
- Assemble manufactured materials and components according to design specifications.
- Ensure the accuracy of Bills of Materials (BOM) and that the final assembly meets quality and design standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and other instructions.
- Operate various hand and electrical tools, cutters, and measuring equipment.
- Maintain the inventory of products at work stations.
- Perform quality checks, identify product defects, and document them.
- Rework or repair assembled products based on engineering changes.
- Adhere to all established safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work area.
- Lifting: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Standing: Ability to work in a standing position for up to 8 hours per day.
- Education: High School Diploma. If no diploma, 2 years of relevant experience are required.
- Experience: 1 year of experience (or at least 3 years of relevant experience if there is no high school diploma/GED).
