Leading electronics manufacturer is in search of a Materials Control Specialist! We are seeking candidates that have experience coordinating dispatch of material and equipment throughout the facility to assist in production and inventory control.This position requires similar experience within a manufacturing facility and attention to detail.
This is a 1 year contract position with the possibility of being converted to direct hire. Position ranges from $22-$23 an hour with occasional weekend shifts. Please apply today!

responsibilities:
- Safely work with all equipment required for job completion
- Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using computer.
- Organize items to be stocked on shelves in stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.
- Perform inventory counts and identify discrepancies.
- Store items in an orderly, accessible, and safe manner.
- Prepare, assemble, and stage materials and equipment for use in production.
- Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
- Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
- Listens and follows directions from leads and supervisors.
- Adheres to Quality Management System and ISO9001 standards.
- Works in a timely, efficient manner to meet all daily performance objectives..
- Identify material and equipment issues.
- Must be able to read and understand posted bulletins, regulations, rule books, manufacturer manuals, and work instructions
- Must be able to work in a team environment which requires cooperating with others, offering help when needed, and maintaining positive work relationships
- Complete Time Reporting Sheets
- Ensure working environment is clean and safe.
- Report inventory use as required

- Experience level: Experienced
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Education: High School (required)
