Large utility is looking for a Scheduler in Grand Rapids, MI. This is a scheduling and coordination role for a business unit, requiring 2-4 years of experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently to manage daily tasks and support urgent matters.

responsibilities:
- Scheduling & Planning: Establish and execute a daily work plan, which may include organizing assignments, facilitating meetings, and short-range forecasting.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with supervision, field operations, and other operational support teams.
- System Utilization: Use various systems to monitor work, create orders and requests, and make necessary scheduling adjustments.
- Data Analysis: Review data to make appropriate modifications to the schedule and prepare reports as needed.
- Emergency Support: Support urgent matters in line with business unit procedures, including escalations and volume monitoring.
- Ability to work effectively in urgent situations.
- Skilled at working and thinking independently.
- strong organizational and time management skills.

- Technical skills to utilize various systems.
- Education: An Associate's degree in Business or a related field.
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in scheduling or related work, with a focus on customer interaction, data, and reports.
