responsibilities:
- Lead and facilitate large cross-functional improvement projects across multiple departments
- Coach and mentor employees, suppliers, and Green Belts in continuous improvement practices
- Teach and promote Lean and Six Sigma tools, eliminating waste and driving efficiency
- Identify, prioritize, and deliver projects aligned with strategic business needs
- Develop process improvements through time studies, line balancing, and root cause analysis
- Collaborate across teams to foster a culture of ownership, communication, and teamwork
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, or Science
- 4 to 10 years of related engineering or process improvement experience
- Solid background in Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience leading cross-functional projects, workshops, or initiatives
- Hands-on skills in CAD, process mapping, and problem-solving tools
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities with a desire to grow into management
- Experience as a Process Engineer or similar role with proven continuous improvement results
- Exposure to manufacturing operations and production line improvements
- Working toward Black Belt certification
- Recognized for driving measurable impact on safety, quality, and efficiency through Six Sigma projects
