Join a leading global manufacturing company in a critical role as a Quality Engineer in Grantsburg, WI. In this role you will oversee and improve quality standards for products and processes. You will also be responsible for developing, applying, and maintaining quality standards. This is a contract to hire role with the opportunity for advancement.

responsibilities:
- Implement and Manage Quality Systems: Develop, establish, and maintain robust quality systems, inspection plans, and procedures.
- Analyze Performance: Use statistical analysis to assess quality performance, identify trends, and determine the root cause of non-conforming products.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Apply lean manufacturing and continuous improvement principles to refine and enhance production processes and products.
- Conduct Audits: Perform in-house and supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality requirements and lead programs to improve supplier performance.
- Collaborate and Communicate: Act as a key liaison with customers and suppliers. You will also train and educate internal teams on critical quality functions like PPAP and APQP.
- Lead Corrective Actions: Participate in failure analysis investigations and develop and coordinate corrective action plans.
- Report and Recommend: Prepare detailed reports by analyzing data, summarizing findings, and making data-driven recommendations.
- 2+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
