A Cost Analyst/ Routing Specialist is needed for a leading manufacturing organization in Alpharetta, GA. The Cost Analyst is responsible for analyzing cost variances, performing material routing duties, and assisting in inventory functions. The ideal candidate should have analytical skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and be proficient in Excel.
Qualified candidates must possess outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities is crucial. A bachelor's degree is required as it provides a solid foundation in cost analysis and material routing. Experience with FourthShift and JobBOSS, is a plus as it will contribute to a smoother integration into our client's existing systems.

- Perform routing duties related to metal shop products, ensuring accurate and efficient routing of materials
- Analyze cost variances between metal shop product pricing estimates and actual manufacturing costs
- Summarize the results and provide actionable insights to management
- Assist in interdepartmental functions as needed, such as receiving and picking materials, to ensure smooth operations
- Identify and recommend opportunities for automated process improvements, aiming to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
