A Quality Assurance Specialist for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company is needed in the Portage, MI area. This is an individual contributor role responsible for quality control, risk assessment, and compliance within a Product Field Action team. This role handles all aspects of the process from intake to destruction, including documentation and communication with customers.

responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce quality standards and compliance throughout every stage of the Product Field Action process.
- Identify and evaluate potential risks and provide recommendations to mitigate them.
- Take full responsibility for all quality control aspects, including intake, record documentation, destruction, and both internal and external customer communications.
- Facilitate audits and regulatory inspections to ensure compliance.
- Coordinate quality-related training sessions for the team.
- Operate as an individual contributor, applying professional expertise independently with minimal supervision.
- Requires a university degree or equivalent practical experience.
- The role is suitable for someone with an understanding of their discipline and the ability to use judgment based on practice and prior experience.
