Our client, a leader in aerospace manufacturing, is actively seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of progressive quality experience within the aerospace, automotive, or industrial manufacturing sectors. Essential qualifications include proficiency in problem-solving techniques such as 8D, Fishbone, 5-Why, and PFMEA, as well as understanding of core quality engineering disciplines and manufacturing concepts. A bachelor's degree (B.S.) from an accredited institution in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or Mechanical engineering is a required qualification for this role.

responsibilities:
- Supports quality assurance for both internal teams (like manufacturing and engineering) and external customers.
- Manages key quality processes, including non-conforming materials and the Material Review Board (MRB).
- Reviews and approves critical documents like product drawings, test procedures, and First Article Reports (FAIRs).
- Oversees engineering changes (ECOs) and customer returns (RMAs), ensuring efficient flow and communication.
- Drives continuous improvement through audits, failure analysis, and adherence to quality standards like AS9100.
