A Project Engineer is needed for a Swiss multinational manufacturing company for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and nutrition sectors, in the Portsmouth, NH area. The MES Engineer is a hands-on role responsible for supporting, testing, and implementing Manufacturing Execution Systems, acting as a technical resource for manufacturing operations, projects, and quality-related documentation.

responsibilities:
- Authoring and reviewing test protocols.
- Executing and testing changes.
- Creating change management processes for a new MODA-ES MES system.
- Ensure all work is performed safely with proper training.
- Develop expertise on manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
- Resolve equipment breakdowns and quality issues.
- Provide subject matter expert (SME) support for equipment design and operation.
- Conduct technical analyses and troubleshooting (e.g., PI data analysis, code review).
- Plan and execute plant projects, particularly those with automation changes.
- Execute various types of test scripts.
- Manage and complete change requests.
- Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) operation and support.
- Requirements gathering.
- System implementation and testing (e.g., test protocol authoring, execution, and review).
- Process automation and control systems.
- Data analysis (e.g., PI data analysis).
- Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) review and revision.
- Batch record review and approval.
