Longstanding manufacturing company in Houston, TX is looking to add a Director of Program Management to the leadership team due to growth. This role will lead highly impactful, transformational cross-functional product development and deployment programs for energy exploration monitoring solutions to business success. Will need to effectively interact with all levels to lead programs and projects from inception through full development process culminating in on-time market introduction and manufacturing ramp of high-quality new products following stage/gate and hybrid methodologies. Must have experience in physical products. This role is direct hire and offers flexible work hours as needed.

responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of project and program managers to deliver successful new product launches through structured stage-gate processes.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute cross-functional product development programs, proactively managing schedules, dependencies, and risks for on-time, on-budget results.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams to ensure launch readiness and alignment.
- Deliver clear, concise executive reporting on programs, including status updates, presentations, and gate reviews to engage stakeholders and drive alignment.
- Champion continuous improvement of program management practices and tools (Jira, MS Project, Asana), leveraging lessons learned and industry best practices.
