A growing civil engineering firm in Orange County, CA is seeking a Transportation Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or similiar. Bringing a background in mobility analysis, traffic impact and engineering design for pubic and private sectors.

responsibilities:
- Prepare traffic studies, including traffic impact analyses, Vehicle Miles Traveled (VMT) assessments, and safety reviews
- Coordinate with clients and public agencies to gather essential traffic data, clarifying project scopes, and ensure compliance with project conditions
- Conduct on-site field reviews and data collection for intersection operations, traffic counts, and parking utilization
- Develop signing and striping plans, traffic signal designs, lighting plans and temporary traffic control plans
- Collaborate with senior staff on project proposals, marketing initiatives, and the mentorship of junior team members
- BS Civil Engineering, Urban Planning or a related field
- 4+ years experience in transportation planning, traffic engineering or both
- Software experience with Synchro, Vistro, AutoCAD and MS Office
