We are in search of an entry level to mid experienced Quality Assurance Lab Technician to join an industry leader within the Breckenridge MN area. We are seeking candidates who are interested in joining a dynamic team to further their career within a fast growing plant. The ideal candidate will have a background in microbiological testing, large batch processes and preparation of laboratory cultures. Candidates who are entry level with a related background and eagerness to learn will also be considered. Working experience of GLP's is desired. .
Candidates must have a minimum of a High School Degree + 1-3 years of relatable working experience or education. This position is day shift (7-3PM flexible) ranging from $21-$27/hr + OT. responsibilities:
- Execute microbiological testing (ex: QPCR, PCR, TPC, Salmonella, Coliforms, E. coli etc.)
- Performs chemical and physical analyses.
- Execute product appearance and sensory testing.
- Follow Continuous Improvement actions within quality assurance.
- Prepares laboratory culture vessels.
- Routinely performs quality control checks on finished product.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Troubleshoots and corrects equipment problems.
- Actively take part in testing programs to ensure data accuracy.
- Document and report lab data.
- Keep recording of data manually and/or electronically.
- Follow company compliance of product criteria to prepare for release from the facility.
- Maintain and improve a clean and orderly environment.
- Applies GL Practices, ISO 17025 principles, Lean Six Sigma Tools and company EHS practices.
