An Analyst is needed for a utility holding company in the Henderson, CO area. This role is for an independent, detail-oriented professional who uses GIS and SAP systems to manage new utility connections, process refunds, and maintain accounts.

responsibilities:
- Delivers clearly documented functional, system, and process requirements.
- Obtains requirements from clients through interviews, document analysis, and site visits.
- Evaluates information to understand business requests and translates them into functional specifications.
- Conducts GIS research to identify new participants for gas/electric extensions.
- Handles customer refund RFPs and returned checks.
- Creates and pushes RFPs into the SAP system.
- Runs and reviews monthly reports to update or close accounts.
- Adds notes to the GIS/ETP system.
- Responds to ad hoc inquiries related to extensions.
- strong Excel skills (pivot tables, charts) and SAP experience are strongly preferred.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with little guidance are essential.
- Utility company experience is a plus.
- A Bachelor's degree is ideal but can be substituted with experience.
- Requires 2-5 years of GIS experience.
