An Electronics Technician is needed for a global power leader in the Columbus, IN area. The position requires experience with electronic circuits and tools, and involves a variety of tasks such as resolving hardware and software issues, modifying wiring harnesses, documenting system configurations, and contributing to ongoing lab maintenance and process improvements.

responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, set up, and develop test systems in a lab environment.
- Complete assigned work orders for support requests.
- Set up and maintain Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and other test systems.
- Resolve daily hardware and software issues with test systems and equipment.
- Modify test bench wiring harnesses and create new connections as needed.
- Maintain system configuration documentation for hardware and serial numbers.
- Perform system setup, maintenance, and calibration.
- Maintain CAN panel configuration documentation and wiring harness checkouts.
- Support custom electronic test development and hardware builds.
- Contribute to daily troubleshooting, troubleshooting guides, and training materials.
- Participate in lab inventory management, maintenance, and continuous improvement projects.
