A Senior Manufacturing Engineer is needed for a leading manufacturing organization outside of Greensboro NC. In this role, you'll be instrumental in developing and executing process plans for production lines working with various teams to ensure projects meet their key milestones.
The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field and possess experience in preparing and executing capital projects from start to finish. You should also have solid project management experience, preferably with investments over $500K, and be proficient in using drafting software like AutoCAD as well as Microsoft Office. Our client is only seeking local candidates or candidates willing to relocate on their own at this time.

responsibilities:
- Lead equipment trials at vendor sites and on the factory floor to ensure safety, quality, and productivity targets are met
- Manage equipment procurement, installation, and commissioning, from initial planning through to launch
- Identify punch list items, perform root cause analysis, and implement countermeasures
- Create and maintain detailed schedules for assigned production areas
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings, both domestic and international, to align project schedules and milestones
- Provide daily written and verbal reports to senior management
