responsibilities:
- Develop and integrate mechanical subsystems into commercial platforms, such as control valves, pumps and sensors
- Design heating system controls, including combustion safety systems
- Collaborate with other teams (mechanical, electrical, software and manufacturing) to ensure systems work together seamlessly
- Build and test new components and features
- Create test plans to validate system performance and safety
- Prepare technical documents, including schematics, flowcharts and test reports
- Ensure designs meet industry codes, efficiency standards, and environmental regulations
- Work on improving existing boiler platforms to reduce costs, increase reliability, and improve energy efficiency
