Seeking a Machine Technician for 1st shift (7:00AM-3:30PM) for a high growth plastic injection molding manufacturing client in the Fairport, NY area.
The Machine Tech would be responsible for monitory and controlling the injection molding process, converting plastic/resin raw material into finished molded products through the application of heat and pressure. Must work OT as required.

responsibilities:
- Operate the injection molding machine according to posted instructions.
- Remove, inspect, and finish products, which may include assembly, trimming, and/or packaging per specifications.
- Collect and record production and quality data on documents such as Day by Hour boards and quality sort sheets.
- Prepare the machine for the molding cycle by placing components (e.g., limiters) into the fixture and activating the process via console controls.
- Package and label finished products correctly.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and equipment.
- Adhere to all safety and quality regulations and standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives like LEAN and High-Performance Teams (HPT).
- Perform other assigned duties and work overtime as required.
