A Technician Associate is needed for a world class utility company in the Fort Wayne, IN area. This role involves analyzing utility poles using DDS software for Grid Modernization and Transmission projects, ensuring designs are accurate, managing project deadlines, and requires technical knowledge.

responsibilities:
- Track project due dates and collaborate with design teams, Project Managers (PMs), and line coordinators to ensure design accuracy and quality.
- Gain knowledge of relevant standards, codes, regulations, equipment, material, systems, and business processes.
- Performs work activities as assigned and coached by higher-level employees.
- Demonstrates ability to work with others, supply information, and seek assistance.
- Plans work following company standard practices and prioritizes routine work to meet demands.
- Maintains accurate records.
- Applies technical knowledge to resolve problems; uses initiative to improve processes and job knowledge.
- Seeks out, compiles, analyzes, and interprets necessary information.
- Communicates effectively (oral and written) with internal and external customers.
- Assists in preparing technical reports and papers.
- Demonstrates the ability to be a team player.
- Relates to people in an open, friendly, and sincere manner.

- High School Diploma or equivalent plus 2 years of related utility industry work experience or
- An Associate's Degree in a relevant Engineering Technology field.
