The E and C Engineer is a project engineer/manager focused on mechanically based capital projects at regional gas turbine plants and involves managing all project phases (design, execution, safety, budget), performing technical analysis, investigating failures,

responsibilities:
- Serves as a project engineer supporting capital projects at gas turbine plants.
- Manages approved capital projects from scope review to execution.
- Coordinates with reliability engineers and vendors to update quotes and specifications.
- Plans and executes projects during plant outages or while online, ensuring resource availability.
- Liaises with contractors and internal teams for alignment on installation and commissioning.
- Maintains safety compliance and coordinates site access/orientation.
- Responsible for the design, modeling, development, and testing of a machine, structure, or system.
- Develops functional requirements and applies standard engineering principles.
- Creates simulations and prototypes to evaluate designs and test operation.
- Designs, tests components, and integrates them into the final product.
- Monitors quality, controls process efficiency, and evaluates a design's effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.
- strong organizational skills (managing budgets, schedules, change orders, team members).
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with plant operations, site management, and craft labor.
- Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD or Bluebeam is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred).
- 5+ years preferred, but candidates with less experience and strong aptitude considered; utility, manufacturing, or heavy industry experience preferred (gas turbine experience is a plus).
