A Specialized Manufacturer is seeking a Process Engineer with a focus on Advanced Metal Powders in the DFW region. Dedicated production of next-gen metal alloys and specialized components, responsible for designing, commissioning, and optimizing powder processes. An ideal candidate will bring a Bachelors degree in Materials or Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or similar field, and 3+ years in metal powder processing, particle flowability and quality control. responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical expert for all metal powder production processes for a new facility build
- Lead equipment specification, design reviews, and the commissioning of new plant and machinery (PLCs, P&ID), working directly with vendors and engineering
- Drive initiatives to ensure high yield and product quality, and resolve complex equipment and quality issues, including NPI projects
- Champion EHS/HAZOP compliance, document Intellectual Property (IP), and provide essential technical training and support to the production team
- Bachelors degree in Materials or Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or similar field
- Metal powder processing
- Particle size distribution, flowability, and agglomeration
