A Designer is needed for a utility holding company in the Eau Claire, WI area. This Designer role will be supporting the CIAC Team by managing customer agreements/payments, auditing work orders for capital budgeting, and creating/revising 2D/3D models, sketches, and contract documents using CAD, GIS, and Microsoft Office.

responsibilities:
- Customer contacts, tracking customer agreements, tracking payments, auditing work orders, and validating Service Policy requirements for Design.
- Provide support for annual Work Order packet reviews.
- Work Order reviews support managing the capital budget and refunding eligible customers.
- Must be able to read and comprehend detailed customer requirements, data sheets, and supplier specifications.
- Complete assignments utilizing information from project engineering, architectural, or technical services staff under supervision.
- Requires familiarity with drafting techniques and engineering concepts and terminology.
- Able to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Prepare documentation to support design drawings.
- Prepare bills of material (BOMs) and schedules.
- Assist engineering personnel with formal drawing transmittals and construction issues.
- Create, update, and revise sketches, work drawings, and contract agreements.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Pro, and GIS software for documentation tasks.
- Create, update, and revise sketches, working drawings, and contract documents using Computer Assisted Design (CAD) software or manual drafting.
- Prepare 2D and 3D models.
- Must be able to read and comprehend detailed customer requirements, data sheets, and supplier specifications.
