A Senior Panel Technician is needed for a global engineering, construction and project management company in the Kennedy Space Center, FL area. A Senior Pneumatic Panel Technician is sought for a contract-to-hire, onsite role to fabricate, inspect, test, and troubleshoot complex pneumatic, avionic, and electromechanical panels/racks for the Artemis space programs, ensuring quality and regulatory adherence.

responsibilities:
- Fabricate, inspect, and test Ground Safety Equipment (GSE) assembly and panel/racks for spaceflight systems.
- Responsible for integrating electronic equipment systems for Artemis programs space system components.
- Assemble complex electromechanical racks, panels, and subassemblies.
- Critical role in ensuring safe, consistent, and groundbreaking advancements in human spaceflight.
- Perform installation of avionic components and systems.
- Read instructions (work orders, diagrams, wire lists) to determine materials and assembly sequence.
- Mount and install components: PLCs, HMIs, relays, contactors, switches, and terminal blocks.
- Assemble cables, buses, and electromechanical systems.
- Measure, cut, solder, and crimp wire and contacts to fabricate wire harness.
- Conduct detailed installations, including tubing and intricate cable harness configurations.
- Inspect, test, and verify avionics assemblies against technical models, drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Requires experience with panel, wiring, and mechanical installs.
- Must be proficient with engineering drawings, wire diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- Experience with avionics/panel manufacturing and test equipment is required.
- Familiarity with industry standards like IPC/ WHMA-A-620, MIL-DTL-22520, NASA-STD-8739, J-STD-001, and ANSI/ESD S20.20 is required.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Associate degree in related field preferred.
- Three (3+) years' experience as an electrical/cable fabrication technician or other relevant industry experience.
- Applicants with experience that exceed the minimum may be considered for a higher-level Avionics Technician position.
