Our client, a leader in the interconnect solutions is looking for an assistant project manager. Key qualifications include, a minimum of 3 years of experience in materials, sales, marketing, engineering, manufacturing and/or program administration or related experience and working knowledge of CAD software and MS excel. A Bachelors degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience is required.

responsibilities:
- Initiate and Govern: Establish the project schedule, budget, and technical requirements, then manage the project from start through final transfer.
- Communicate and Coordinate: Serve as the central point of contact, communicating customer requirements, specifications, schedules, and budget to cross-functional teams and management.
- Troubleshoot and Resolve: Review daily production to identify problem areas, assess causes, and provide technical support and direction to the team to resolve issues.
- Report and Control: Develop status reports and financial assessments to ensure the team meets customer requirements and maintains cost control.
- Guide and Interface: Assist with larger projects, mentor lower-level managers, and frequently interact with customers and management at various levels.
