Assistant Construction Manager needed in Bloomington, MN for a major construction firm. This role will need to effectively manage critical planning, contractual, and risk functions for our projects from proposal through closeout for a top client.Onsite role with project and client visits needed in the area. Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software is preferred.

responsibilities:
- Lead client engagement and proposal development in collaboration with Project Management.
- Manage and mitigate project risk through internal reviews and legal consultation.
- Develop and negotiate project contracts (prime contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders) and change orders.
- Oversee critical project planning (Execution, QA/QC, Safety, Staffing, Procurement) and site mobilization/demobilization.
- Execute contract administration including RFIs, submittals, change management, and claims mitigation.
- Report and track project performance (status, risks, schedule, costs) for internal and external stakeholders.
