A Senior Subcontract Administrator is needed for a leader in the world of Technical Services and Engineering. Remote work. This role requires an expert Subcontract Administrator to independently manage the full lifecycle of risk-averse, construction-type subcontracts on large-scale, federally funded programs, ensuring CPSR and FAR compliance while collaboratively supporting proposal efforts and program execution.

responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary subcontract administrator for a variety of proposal efforts and awarded programs within the Engineered Systems Business Unit.
- Independently manage the full subcontract lifecycle (initiation to completion) with minimal supervision.
- Provide proactive and expert-level subcontract support for large-scale domestic and international proposals and federally funded programs.
- Maintain excellent customer service for internal stakeholders.
- Source and vet subcontractors by preparing recommended source lists based on past performance and qualifications.
- Collaborate with Business Development to establish teaming strategies, lead teaming agreement negotiations, and mitigate contractual risks.
- Prepare and issue formal subcontractor solicitation packages, including flowdown requirements from the prime contract.
- Evaluate subcontractor proposals for accuracy and completeness, and coordinate internal pre-award reviews (pricing, program management, etc.).
- Negotiate subcontractor pricing and terms/conditions.
- Prepare award documentation in compliance with CPSR, company policies, and procurement authority.
- Manage subcontract administration throughout program execution, including soliciting and awarding amendments.
- Work with Program Management, Finance, and Contracts to develop negotiation strategies that minimize company risk and ensure CPSR compliance.
- Maintain accurate tracking records for each subcontract and support internal data requests/audits by creating reports.
- Timely perform subcontract closeout actions and complete file documentation per company procedures.
- Provide guidance, training, and may supervise lower-level Subcontract Administrators.
- Serve as a liaison and conduct transitional hand-offs between various teams and subcontractors.
- Establish and foster collaborative, positive, and effective working relationships.
- Experience drafting, negotiating, and managing long-term, risk-averse subcontracts, specifically for design/build and general construction management on federally funded programs.
- Expertise in negotiating construction-type subcontract agreements.
- Firm Fixed-Price (FFP) and FFP Level-of-Effort (LOE)
- Cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF) Term and LOE
- Time and Materials (T&M)
- Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ)
-   Experience managing subcontractor performance and adherence to requirements such as Davis-Bacon, Bonding, and Liquidated Damages.
 
-   Ability to contractually and legally manage subcontractor performance concerns/deficiencies and risks.
 
-   Diversified experience in maintaining CPSR compliant subcontract agreements and an excellent working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
 
Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree (Business Admin or Economics preferred) and 10+ years of diversified experience in procurement for large global engineering and construction projects.
