An Automation Engineer is needed for a Swiss multinational manufacturing company for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and nutrition sectors, in the Portsmouth, NH area. This role supports manufacturing operations by troubleshooting and administering Syncade and DeltaV control systems, developing automation logic/records, performing testing, and resolving equipment/quality issues.

responsibilities:
- Conduct system troubleshooting on Syncade and Controls systems.
- Support floor activities to conclude running records successfully.
- Develop and revise DeltaV logic, batch records, and eDispense records with supervisors.
- Support Production via the Helpdesk for production issues.
- Perform testing and validation for Syncade and DeltaV changes.
- Perform System administration tasks (e.g., account creation, maintenance), receiving guidance on advanced tasks.
- Execute tasks for Process Change Controls and CAPA closure.
- Assess and incorporate Material Masters and general material properties from SAP.
- Develop technical knowledge on manufacturing equipment and process automation systems.
- Support resolution of equipment breakdowns and quality issues of increasing complexity with limited assistance.
- Conduct troubleshooting and technical analyses, including PI data analyses.
- Perform basic testing on the DeltaV simulator.
- Perform other assigned duties.
