responsibilities:

Handle job start-up items including billing, labor breakdowns, preliminary scheduling, and establishing equipment needs.

Coordinate technical support tasks (e.g., valve charts, material submittals).

Manage project communication with the construction manager/GC, subcontractors, vendors, and superintendents.

Monitor the submittal process to align with project requirements.

Manage the overall project schedule, including coordinating manpower, subcontractors, and expediting material deliveries.

Monitor productivity and job performance by reviewing labor reports with project foremen.

Handle all project correspondence, including change orders and proper documentation.

Assemble monthly payment requisitions as required by the contract.

Attend monthly work-in-progress meetings to review the project's financial status and discuss any issues with corporate management.



Qualifications:

• Two years in project management for mechanical/industrial construction engineering projects.
  
  
  
  
• Degree in Construction Management or Engineering.
  
  
  
  
• Familiarity with the technical and administrative aspects of projects (plans, specifications, and internal forms/procedures).
  
  
  
  
• Detail-oriented, with problem solving and analytical abilities.
  
  
  
  
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  
  
  
  
• Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Project, and scheduling software.
  
  
  
  
• Ability to adapt to changing demands and priorities.
