A Receiving Inspector is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Medley, FL area. A Receiving/Production Inspector role requiring 1+ year of experience to perform detailed quality inspection (Incoming, First Article, Final) of manufactured and supplied components against engineering drawings, using precision tools, and accurately recording results and discrepancies in SAP.

responsibilities:
- Inspect internal manufactured assemblies and/or supplier products against drawing and workmanship requirements.
- Utilize the SAP company information system to record inspection results.
- Incoming Inspection, Production Inspection, Audits, SAP Transactions.
- Perform Incoming, first article, In Process, or Final inspection tasks per procedures.
- Document inspection results on appropriate records.
- Make decisions on product acceptance per documentation and workmanship criteria.
- Document product discrepancies per company procedures.
- Prioritize product inspection based on schedule needs.
- Understand and interpret design data (Drawings, Bills Of Material, etc.).
- Use proper inspection methods and equipment (caliper, height gage, micrometer, etc.).
- Capable of supporting multiple product lines and/or commodities.
- Maintain applicable skills, knowledge, & certifications as required.
- Complete SAP Oracle transactions per company procedures.
- Miscellaneous duties as required.
- Ability to prioritize numerous tasks to meet schedule needs.
- Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline.
- With a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
