A Metrology Operator is needed in theSanta, Clara, CA area for an American corporation that supplies equipment, services and software for the manufacture of semiconductor chips for electronics, flat panel displays for computers, smartphones, televisions, and solar products. A Metrology Operator is required to operate and perform basic qualification on semiconductor processing equipment in a Fab/R&D setting, ensuring data compilation and equipment performance tracking.

responsibilities:
- Perform operation of assigned semiconductor process equipment.
- Perform basic system qualification of assigned semiconductor process equipment.
- Support process demonstrations for internal and external customers.
- Compile and update process data and specifications.
- Use a real-time database to monitor/input data and track equipment/production performance.
- Work shift may include a compressed or augmented work week schedule.
- Perform other assigned responsibilities.
- Experience must be in a Semiconductor Fab production and/or R&D environment.
- Requires hands-on experience operating various semiconductor processing equipment (Metrology, PVD, CVD, RTP, Etch, etc.).
- Requires analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Requires oral and written communication skills.
- Must be comfortable working with and around hazardous materials.
- Requires experience interfacing with members of various departments.
- Requires an understanding of cleanroom protocol.
- Requires organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills.
- Requires good attention to detail.
- Requires a Technical Degree.
- With 1+ years of experience or 5+ years of industry experience.
