A Project Manager is needed for an an American Fortune 500 company and global supplier of paints, coatings, and specialty materials in the Pittsburgh, PA area. A Project Manager role focused is on planning, executing, and closing Industrial Coatings growth projects by utilizing cross-functional leadership, budget/risk management, and strong proficiency in project methodologies and software.

responsibilities:
- Responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of short-term and long-term projects.
- Projects aim to support the Industrial Coatings business growth strategy.
- Reports to the Project Management Office Leader.
- Member of the Industrial Coatings Strategic Marketing team.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams and manages stakeholder relationships.
- Uses strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Defines project scope, goals, and deliverables with stakeholders.
- Develops detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
- Identifies and manages project dependencies and critical path.
- Leads and motivates project teams, clarifying roles and responsibilities.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Excel, Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana).
- Proven experience in project management, with a track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Requires Bachelor's degree
- With 7+ years relevant experience (product management/project management).
- PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
