A Buyer is needed for a multinational power management company in the South Milwaukee, WI area. This Buyer role manages the timely procurement and delivery of raw materials and production support, resolving related issues (quality, inventory, invoicing) using SAP, analyzing consumption, and collaborating across departments to meet customer needs.

responsibilities:
- Release and deliver purchase orders for raw material and production support on time.
- Resolve procurement, quality, invoice, and inventory-related issues.
- Execute appropriate SAP transactions for issue resolution.
- Analyze part consumption behavior and other part characteristics.
- Interface with customer service, internal/external suppliers, Product Engineering, and Production.
- Ensure a high level of support to satisfy the customer.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
Preferred Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Experience with procurement software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Familiarity with contract management principles.
- Knowledge of supply chain logistics and inventory management.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
