A Senior Electrical Designer is needed for an engineering consulting company in the Portland, OR area. A Senior Electrical Designer role requires 3D modeling/drafting experience (AutoCAD/Revit) to design electrical systems (power, lighting, fire alarm) for high-tech facilities (semiconductor/data centers), with responsibilities for design package delivery, mentoring, and scheduling.

responsibilities:
- Work on projects enabling clients' core business, including semiconductor manufacturing, data center facilities, and other state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities.
- Perform computer-aided drafting and design of electrical power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and communication systems.
- Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create layouts, sketches, 2D/3D modeling, and electronic document files.
- Responsible for delivery of complex design packages in coordination with engineers and design leads.
- Develop staffing plans based on project deliverables and schedule.
- Gain familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
- Mentor subordinates and provide guidance to less experienced designer/drafters.
- Proficiency in Autocad.
- Knowledge and application of NEC and electrical design requirements.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- At Least 8 years of relevant experience in design utilizing 3-D modeling / drafting.
- At least 1 year of Revit Design Experience.
- Two year Associate's Degree in relevant field.
- 3 years of semiconductor experience.
