An E and C Engineer is needed for a utility holding company in Eau Claire, WI or Minneapolis, MN areas. This engineering role encompasses the full lifecycle of product development: design, modeling, testing, and integration of a system or machine, while applying standard principles to ensure quality, efficiency, and safety, and resolving failures.

responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, modeling, development and testing of a machine, structure or system.
- Develop functional requirements.
- Understand and apply standard engineering principles.
- Create simulations and prototypes to evaluate preliminary designs and test system operation.
- Design and test components, and integrate them to produce the final product.
- Monitor quality of products and control the efficiency of processes.
- Evaluate a design's overall effectiveness, cost, reliability, and safety.
- Investigate root causes of failures to maintain quality and recommend improvements.
