A Systems Integration Professional is needed for an engineering consulting company in the San Jose, CA area. This role requires an Associate's degree and at least six years of experience with PLCs and SCADA systems, focusing on the configuration, programming, and on-site startup assistance for facility management systems in industrial environments like semi-conductor facilities.

responsibilities:
- The work focuses on projects enabling the core business of clients, including semi-conductor, industrial, and commercial facilities.
- You will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering and programming tasks.
- You will gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.
- You will provide on-site assistance during startup.
- You will coordinate work activities with other staff members and the discipline lead.
- Your primary focus will be on configuration and programming of facility management system PLCs and HMI/SCADA interfaces.
- There is opportunity for growth expansion to work with the team in highly complex systems.
- The team produces designs for electrical circuits and panels utilizing CAD applications.
- The team designs control systems for a variety of facility core and shell processes.
- The team develops options and optimizations for all aspects of the process control, instrumentation, and automation.
- Associate of Applied Science Degree in Electronics or Instrumentation is required.
- At Least 6 years of Industrial System Integration Experience is required.
- Knowledge of PLCs and SCADA systems is required.
- Experience with Rockwell and GE/Emerson PLCs is required.
- Experience with inductive automation Ignition software packages is required.
- Understand Piping & Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) following ANSI/ISA S5.1 symbology is required.
- Experience with Cimplicity™ and Rockwell programming packages.
- Experience in Semi-conductor, industrial or general industrial facilities.
- Experience in various aspects of industrial automation, instrumentation, electrical power and building automation system design.
- Pressure, temperature, flow, and level installation, calibration, and maintenance experience.
- Understand the operations, safety considerations and applications for common analytical instruments including pH, Conductivity.
- Understand analog, digital, and relay field wiring and troubleshooting.
- SQL server experience.
- Experience building industrial control panels.
- Ability to Specify instrumentation and valves.
- Autocad experience.
