We are seeking a dedicated, high-impact engineer to join our growing team focused on advanced power infrastructure delivery.
Position Summary
The Integration Engineer is a crucial technical leadership role focused on ensuring the reliability and safety of site-wide electrical control and protection systems. This expert will manage system design and integrity for utility-scale power projects, with a heavy emphasis on Data Center sites and complex utility infrastructure.

responsibilities:
I. Advanced Protection & Automation Design
- Protection Logic: Design advanced protection and control logic using major vendor relays (SEL, ABB, Siemens), including complex MTM transfer schemes and IEC 61850-based protocols.
- System Controls: Develop site-wide automation logic using PLC or RTAC industrial controllers, specializing in multi-purpose busway interlocks, generator plant control, selective load pickup, and load shed schemes.
- System Interlocks: Design precise intra/inter-equipment control systems and robust mechanical/electrical interlock systems to prevent equipment failure and ensure operational safety.
- SOO & Documentation: Develop the official site-wide Sequence of Operation (SOO) and prepare detailed automation and wiring construction documents for field teams.
- Vendor Compliance: Lead vendor coordination and meticulous submittal review for all major electrical equipment (e.g., medium-voltage switchgear).
- Factory Testing (FAT): Conduct and manage mandatory Factory Witness Tests (FATs) to ensure equipment conforms to design specifications before installation.
- Failure Analysis: Conduct power system failure analysis, event analysis, or SOE analysis to diagnose issues and ensure long-term system reliability.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in power systems, protection & control engineering, or advanced industrial automation.
- Licensure: Must possess or be actively pursuing a Professional Engineer (PE) license (Licensed candidates are strongly preferred).
- Technical Skills: Deep familiarity with industrial controllers, protection relays (SEL/ABB/Siemens), and medium-voltage electrical systems.
- Ideal Background: Experience working at major power equipment manufacturers (GE, Schneider) or within a utility-scale power developer.
- Schedule: Full-time salaried position.
- Travel: Ability to accommodate 25% to 50% travel for vendor FATs and project site support.
- Location Preference: Dallas/Fort Worth, TX is the ideal location (central hub for national travel). Candidates near the following regional offices will also be considered: San Jose, Portland, Gallatin (TN), Sterling (VA), Charlotte, Austin (TX), Northern California, and Southern California.
