We are seeking a Construction Superintendent/MEP to join our team in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role is crucial in ensuring that our projects are executed efficiently and effectively, contributing to our mission of delivering outstanding construction solutions.
Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations on construction sites to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.
Ensure quality control measures are implemented throughout the construction process.
Manage budgets and schedules effectively to meet project deadlines.
Facilitate communication between various teams involved in the project.
Address any issues or conflicts that arise on-site promptly.
Implement best practices from previous projects to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry.
Thorough knowledge of MEP systems and their integration into construction projects.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficient in project management software and tools.
Problem-solving skills with a focus on quality control.
Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in construction.
