Seeking a Technical Engineering Lead - Precision Weapons for a high growth defense contractor in the Huntsville, AL area.
The Technical Engineer Lead would be responsible for lead to support the Precision Weapons Development Program. With facilities in Huntsville AL and Hudson NH, the successful candidate will plan, execute and manage a geographically distributed team during the implementation of engineering processes, conduct of internal and field test events, development of test and tactical systems and identification/allocation of new requirements for next generation advanced missile seekers.

responsibilities:
- Direct Engineering activities across the product development process for Precision Strike programs.
- Manage system work products, including requirements definition (component, operational), allocation to disciplines, and formal test plans/procedures.
- Lead execution of design, development, integration, and verification efforts.
- Accountable for the Systems team's schedule and cost performance.
- Represent the program in internal and external technical engagements (customers, contractors, trade studies, proposals).
- Budget and Schedule understanding and reporting/evaluating metrics for cost and schedule performance
