Packaging specialist needed for an immediate hybrid contract role for candidates living within 4 hour radius to the Golden Valley, MN area! This is an awesome opportunity for an enthusiastic packaging specialist to enhance their Packaging career with a global team!
The right person for this role will have 5+ years related R&D experience within a packaging environment. This person will be a great communicator with the ability to work in collaboration with internal and external business teams involving the application of process engineering solutions that apply to consumer packaged goods.

responsibilities:
- Review detailed packaging specifications to ensure manufacturing compliance with Consumer Packaged Goods.
- Collaborate successfully with cross-functional teams and vendors
- Manage project data and documentation using internal GMI (reusable packaging systems, will train)
- Bachelor's degree with min of 5+ years of Package Engineering experience
- Solid understanding of product commercialization process from packaging design to manufacturing
- Experience with cartoning equipment, case packing equipment, and other packaging systems
- Experience in the manufacturing industry, food industry, or related is a plus Experience using GMI systems such as Interspec, Optiva or a similar Product Lifecycle Management systems is a PLUS
