An Engineering Technician for a medical devices and equipment manufacturing company is needed in the Irvine, CA area. This Engineering Technician role focuses on the end-to-end support of equipment development through technical drawing, materials testing, and mechanical/electrical maintenance of complex instruments.

responsibilities:
- Support the design, development, and production of technical components and equipment.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings and layouts to guide development.
- Conduct materials testing and operate complex laboratory instruments and gauges.
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Calibrate and adjust products under development to ensure precise performance.
- Monitor equipment during the testing phase to track performance and reliability.
- Evaluate models and prototypes to identify technical problems and defects.
- Author technical reports detailing test results and suggesting engineering solutions.
- Execute repairs on specialized testing apparatus and production machinery.
