A Quality Inspector is needed for one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products in the Everett, WA area. This role involves performing mechanical and cosmetic inspections, documenting non-conformances, and conducting first article reviews for aviation cabin components to ensure adherence to engineering drawings and quality standards.

responsibilities:
- Perform mechanical and cosmetic inspections on aviation components.
- Execute quality control activities including support for new product introductions.
- Provide inspection services for incoming goods, returned items, and assembly processes.
- Document non-conformances and report major quality issues to leadership.
- Conduct first article inspections to verify that parts meet all engineering requirements.
- Possess solid inspection experience specifically gained within a manufacturing environment.
- Maintain technical competence in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with a team.
- Maintain precision and attention to detail while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
- Apply strong verbal, written, and numerical communication skills.
- Utilize quality disciplines such as 8D reporting and 5 Whys analysis.
- Complete corrective action reports as part of the quality management process.
