Project Coordinator / Workforce Coordinator is needed for a leading EPC and Power Service Organization, it the northwestern Providence, Rhode Island area. The Project Coordinator / Workforce Coordinator will oversee the hands-on coordination of site personnel and provide critical operational support for project logistics. This role ensures that manpower is effectively deployed and that all necessary administrative and logistical arrangements are in place to maintain workforce readiness and field productivity.
Candidates must have at least 3+ years of experience in manpower planning or field administration within industrial, construction, or manufacturing sectors. A degree in Business Administration or Logistics is preferred, along with proficiency in workforce planning tools and a commitment to QHSE standards. This role can be slated as contract - to - direct or direct hire. Some relocation assistance may be considered for qualified candidates.

responsibilities:
- Assign and mobilize field personnel to project sites while maintaining real-time updates in workforce planning systems
- Organize day-to-day travel, accommodation, and transportation for site personnel to ensure seamless mobility
- Coordinate the delivery of tools and materials while managing the inventory and distribution of workwear and PPE
- Track work hours, shifts, and standby coverage while maintaining accurate files for contracts and work permits
- Ensure all personnel have valid certifications and adhere to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) internal policies
- Collaborate with Finance, Technical Services, and external providers to resolve immediate logistical or manpower needs
