Our client, a project management company specializing in large-scale developments, is looking for an entitlement/ project manager. Key qualifications include, 5+ years of experience in project management, understanding of the California Coastal Commission regulations. City of San Diego's specific municipal codes and zoning ordinance knowledge is hilghly preferred. An associates degree or experience in a relevant field is required.

responsibilities:
- End-to-End Entitlement Leadership: Lead large-scale commercial projects through the entire approval lifecycle in San Diego, ensuring all permits are secured from inception to completion.
- Government & Agency Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for City of San Diego staff and officials to navigate complex regulatory hurdles, including California Coastal Commission and CEQA requirements.
- Cross-Functional Team Coordination: Direct multidisciplinary teams (engineers, architects, and legal counsel) to ensure technical submissions align with local municipal codes and state standards.
- High-Level Stakeholder Communication: Maintain transparent, proactive relationships with private clients by providing detailed updates on milestones, status reports, and potential project risks.
- Documentation & Compliance Management: Oversee all project documentation, meeting records, and action items while staying current on evolving real estate laws and San Diego zoning ordinances.
