A Project Controls Analyst is needed for a leader in the world of Technical Services and Engineering in the Rocklin, CA area. This role involves managing the financial and temporal health of utility infrastructure projects by developing detailed P6 schedules, maintaining forecast budgets, and ensuring regulatory compliance through rigorous reporting and variance analysis.

responsibilities:
- Leverage cost and schedule plans to evaluate the feasibility of undergrounding and system hardening initiatives.
- Create, maintain, and update monthly forecast budgets to ensure financial accuracy.
- Prepare detailed performance analyses and reports to identify cost and schedule variances.
- Recommend corrective actions to align projects with established objectives.
- Respond to regulatory and stakeholder budget inquiries, including GRC and FERC cost requests.
- Interface with design and planning teams to integrate data across software systems.
- Facilitate the approval of Advance Authorizations, Job Estimates, and Re-Authorizations.
- Process journal entries and coordinate goods receipts within financial systems.
- Maintain logs for scope changes, contingency releases, and change orders to ensure transparency.
- Develop and control detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
- Monitor project expenditures by coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and contractors.
