This role leads as the technical expert for global hazard communication and chemical hygiene. This is a direct hire opportunity with a company that has an excellent reputation and job security. responsibilities:
- Author, review, and approve safety data sheets and labels according to environmental & regulatory comliance
- Troubleshoot SDS/Label software issues & lead system improvements and data retrieval processes
- Support team in chemical hygiene duties
- Manage REACH filings and international registrations & oversee importation procedures for new chemicals
- Work with internal teams to document substances & provide regulatory information for raw materials in new product development
- Conduct EHS training and mentor lower level HazCom staff
- 5+ years of HazCom/EHS experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
- OSHA Certification
- Knowledge of the TSCA
