Full time-Direct hire, Monroe, NC- Local client is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer from working within a manufacturing environment. Candidate must have previous experience working with manufacturing projects on the plant floor. Bachelors degree is preferred Client is offering full benefits, 401 K, base salary and a tremendous work culture.

responsibilities:
- Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Conduct time studies, work sampling, and process mapping to gather data and understand current state performance.
- Apply lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen) to eliminate waste and optimize workflows.
- Develop and implement improved layouts, material flow systems, and work methods.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase production efficiency and reduce cycle times.
- Manage and execute industrial engineering projects from initiation to completion.
