Mechanical Design Engineer located near Alpharetta. GA for a growing industrial manufacturing company. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing Li-Ion products.

Required Qualifications:
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Must have at least three (3) years of experience in mechanical design
- Solidworks experience
- Proficiency in current manufacturing processes, including weldments, sheet metal, and injection molding
- Li-Ion experience
- Experience using GD&T per ASME Y14.5-2009

responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing Li-Ion products
- Responsible for the design and documentation of Li-Ion Batteries
- Determining whether a design solution is user-friendly, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly
- Creating multiple iterations of design prototypes using SolidWorks CAD tools
- Conducting rigorous usability tests and modifying the product based on the test results
- Evaluating design solutions against industry standards and regulations
- Bill-of-material (BOM) creation and update
